Global Connection | Hebei Martial Arts School welcomes Russian 'Kung Fu fan' 9-year-old girl crossing thousands of miles to pursue her dreams
Recently, a group of Russian martial arts enthusiasts traveled thousands of miles to Zhihai Martial Arts Museum in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, embarking on a 5-day learning journey. Among them, Kira Rogocheva, who is only 9 years old, is particularly eye-catching.
Kira Rogocheva's parents have always been interested in Chinese martial arts. A year ago, she was playing at the Moscow Martial Arts Club and saw the coach showcase Chinese martial arts for the first time, which instantly ignited the little girl's curiosity. From that day on, she formed an inseparable bond with Chinese martial arts and pestered her parents to sign up for training classes.
Like Kira Rogocheva, the Russian students accompanying her are all "die hard fans" of Chinese martial arts. They range in age from 9 to over 50 years old, and each person carefully records the essentials of the movements explained by the coach, repeatedly pondering every move without missing any details.
Cangzhou has a long history of martial arts and numerous schools, making it one of the important birthplaces of Chinese martial arts culture. It attracts enthusiasts from countries and regions such as Russia, the United States, and the Netherlands to visit, learn, and exchange ideas, and has become a "dream destination" for more and more martial arts enthusiasts at home and abroad.
