Actively expanding imports is an important part of China's efforts to promote high-level opening-up to the outside world.

On November 7th, the General Administration of Customs released data showing that in October of this year, the total value of China's goods trade imports and exports was 3.7 trillion yuan, of which imports were 1.53 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%, maintaining growth for five consecutive months.

From the perspective of cumulative growth rate, China's import and export of goods trade steadily increased in the first 10 months of this year, reaching a scale of 37.31 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. Among them, exports amounted to 22.12 trillion yuan and imports amounted to 15.19 trillion yuan.

The 8th CIIE is currently being held, and global merchants are gathering in Shanghai, bringing more new products, especially the debut products. The wider the open door, the more China will benefit the world.
