Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, January 4 -- Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, in Beijing on the 4th.

Ding Xuexiang said that the iron-clad friendship between China and Pakistan has become stronger with the passage of time. China is willing to work with Pakistan to strengthen political mutual trust and mutual support, deepen the alignment of development plans, promote pragmatic cooperation with quality and efficiency, enhance communication and coordination on major international and regional affairs, accelerate the construction of a closer China-Pakistan community of common destiny in the new era, and continuously improve the well-being of the two peoples, in accordance with the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries.

Dahl stated that friendship with China is the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy. Pakistan adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to take the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity to promote the continuous development of the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China.
