Xi'an, November 24th (Xinhua) - Li Hongzhong, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Chinese Chairman of the China Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the 6th China Russia Small and Medium sized Enterprise Industry Forum in Xi'an on November 24th and delivered a speech.

  The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC made the top-level design and strategic plan for China's economic and social development during the "15th Five Year Plan" period. China will adhere to economic construction as the center, concentrate its efforts on promoting high-quality development, unswervingly promote high-level opening up to the outside world, and is willing to share development opportunities with countries around the world, including Russia. China will work together with Russia to fundamentally follow the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continuously optimize cooperation mechanisms, provide more convenient conditions and create a better environment for cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises of the two countries, fully leverage the role of the China Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Committee as the main channel for people to people exchanges between the two countries, and fully serve the overall situation of China Russia relations.

The Russian side stated in its speech that the Russia China relationship has reached an unprecedented height, and the two countries have enormous potential for cooperation in many fields. The forum has become a good platform for small and medium-sized enterprises from both countries to connect and cooperate. The Russian side is closely following the "15th Five Year Plan" proposal passed at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and is willing to work together with the Chinese side to bring more development dividends to the two peoples.

During the event, Li Hongzhong also met with the Vice Chairman of the Russian Federation Council, Zhuravlev, and the Russian Chairman of the China Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Committee, Titov.
